Cabin City Campground is located 2.5 miles off Interstate 90, Exit 22, and is 30 minutes west of Superior, Montana. It is a wooded, quiet site adjacent to 12 Mile Creek, with a short interpretive trail on site. The paved campground has 24 sites total, 12 in Loop A and 12 in Loop B. Each site has a parking space, picnic table and fire ring. There is water, there are vault toilets and trash services, and a camp host is on site. The campground is 20 miles from the Hiawatha Bike Trail, and the St. Regis River and 12 Mile Creek provide good areas to fish and nature watch. It is one of three full-service campgrounds located along Interstate 90 between Idaho and Missoula. At 3,200 feet in elevation, the campground is surrounded by trees with 12 Mile Creek running adjacent to it, and is fairly flat and easily accessible from Interstate 90. Missoula is 65 miles to the east, Superior 30 miles to the east and St. Regis 15 miles to the east; the Route of the Hiawatha Trail is 30 miles to the west, the Lookout Ski Area in Idaho 40 miles to the west, and Alberton Gorge 45 miles to the east.
