Cherokee Picnic Shelter

Cherokee Pavilion is located on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway in Fulton, Mississippi, within the Jamie L. Whitten recreation area. The pavilion is equipped with 8 picnic tables, 1 grill, 4 trash cans and 2 extra benches. Boating, fishing and a disc golf course are nearby, along with a walking track. The Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway extends 234 miles from the Tennessee River to the junction of the Tombigbee River in Alabama. The man-made waterway connects the nation's midsection of commercial water transportation with the Gulf of Mexico, and is the largest earth moving project in the history of the world. The Tenn-Tom Waterway has 180,000 acres of public land waiting for you to explore. Itawamba Community College and the city of Fulton are nearby.
