China Meadows Campground

China Meadows Campground is located on the northern slope of the Uinta Mountains at an elevation of 10,000 feet, where visitors enjoy fishing, canoeing and exploring local trails. China Meadows has 9 single campsites with picnic tables and fire rings, and there is a vault toilet for restroom facilities. It is a small, timbered campground near China Lake and near the China Meadows Trailhead, which gives hikers and horseback riders access to the High Uintas. Several ATV, hiking, biking and horseback riding trails crisscross the area. The Uinta Mountains are comprised of beautiful canyons, soaring peaks, pristine lakes, rivers and streams, and outdoor enthusiasts come to enjoy the natural beauty of this rugged region. Numerous lakes provide fishing and canoeing opportunities.
