China Meadows Trailhead Campground is located on the northern slope of the Uinta Mountains at an elevation of 10,000 feet. It is an access point to the High Uinta Wilderness, where visitors enjoy fishing, canoeing and exploring local trails. The site offers 11 single camp sites with picnic tables and fire rings, along with vault restroom facilities. There is plenty of parking for both the trailhead and the campsites. The campground is small and timbered, and near China Lake. This area is popular for its fishing and hiking, and it is close to wilderness access filled with hiking, biking, horseback and off-road vehicle riding trails. The Uinta Mountains are comprised of beautiful canyons, soaring peaks, pristine lakes, rivers and streams, and outdoor enthusiasts come to enjoy the natural beauty of this rugged region. Numerous lakes provide fishing and canoeing opportunities.
