Chokecherry Picnic Area is located in scenic Logan Canyon at an elevation of 5,400 feet, on the banks of the Logan River just 10.1 miles east of Logan, Utah. Visitors enjoy fishing, tubing and exploring local trails. The site offers 4 single picnic sites, each with a picnic table and fire ring, and vault restroom facilities. It sits right on the bank and offers great access for fishing; the Logan River is also good for tubing and canoeing, and numerous hiking and mountain biking trails crisscross the area. Chokecherry is a riverside location where the sounds of the river provide a pleasant background to an enjoyable, relaxing picnic.
