Cochrane Campground on Gainesville Lake of the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway offers a unique recreational experience for outdoor enthusiasts. The 60 Class A campsites provide concrete pads, picnic tables, grills, lantern posts, fire rings, electrical and water connections, and plenty of shade. Boating, fishing and hunting may all be done from the campground; hunting requires a Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway Hunting Permit. Nearby Aliceville, Alabama has amenities such as grocery and hardware stores, restaurants and pharmacies, along with the Aliceville Museum and Cultural Arts Center.
