Colter Bay Marina End Ties

Marina end ties for your boat are available for nightly booking at the Colter Bay Marina on Jackson Lake. This is not a campground for tent camping. Shower, power and water are not available, and guests must provide their own ropes and lines for docking. All guests must check in on arrival and provide proof of insurance and registration. End ties can accommodate boats up to 30 feet and are located on the ends of A, C and D Docks. Think of Colter Bay Village as summer camp for the entire family. This lovely area is set on the shores of Jackson Lake and offers practical amenities like laundry facilities, showers, restaurants and a grocery store, as well as purely-for-fun diversions like a marina, gift shop, visitor center and horse corrals. Swimming and beach-going are among the activities on offer. Jackson Lake is a popular area for boating. Several islands float just off Colter Bay's shores and are home to fish, birds, river otters, beavers and other wildlife. Bring your own boat or rent a canoe, kayak or motor boat from the marina. Lake cruises circle the lake with up-close views of the Tetons, which rise majestically from the water, and breakfast, lunch and dinner meal cruises dine at a private site on Elk Island. Jackson Hole has world class fly and lake fishing, one- and two-hour horseback rides suit all experience levels, and several easy to moderate hiking trails leave from Colter Bay: a leisurely lakeshore stroll, Swan Lake and Heron Pond for birdwatching and wildlife sightings, or Hermitage Point for a more challenging outing. The Colter Bay Visitor Center is home to the David T. Vernon Indian artifacts collection and posts daily ranger-led programs, from a hike to Swan Lake to a tipi demonstration, wildlife watches and evening presentations. The marina sits at the base of the Tetons with views of Mount Moran and the northern end of the Teton Range. Colter Bay is home to black and grizzly bears, moose, deer, elk and other large animals, as well as marmots, foxes, bald eagles and more. Bears are often seen on trails and in the developed areas, so being prepared for an animal encounter helps ensure your safety as well as the wildlife's. Nearby, the 43-mile Scenic Loop Drive is a self-guided tour of Grand Teton and its landscape and wildlife. The historic Jackson Lake Lodge is known for its huckleberry milkshakes and Teton views through 60-foot tall wall-to-wall windows, and books scenic raft trips, park bus tours and horseback rides. The town of Jackson has the National Museum of Wildlife Art just north of town, the famous giant elk antler archway in the town center, the Jackson Hole Rodeo, local shops and many restaurants. In the opposite direction, Yellowstone National Park is within easy reach by car.
