Fort Kearny SRA

Fort Kearny SRA is a state recreation area in Kearney, Nebraska. The area covers 186 acres. For an overnight stay the commission states camping, camping pads with electricity, camping pads without electricity, non-pad sites without electricity, overnight accommodation, reservations, showers, modern restrooms, vault toilets, a dump station and drinking water. On the water it states swimming, a swimming beach, boating, fishing and accessible fishing piers. For trails and riding it states trails, hiking, biking and cross-country skiing. For nature and history it states wildlife viewing, bird watching and a crane viewing area. For day use and sport it states picnicking, a picnic shelter, grills, fire grates, fire rings, a playground and horseshoes. For services it states parking and ADA access.
