As a public fishing area it has 1 fixed fishing pier, a boat ramp, portable boat access, 20 trailer parking spaces, unpaved parking, a restroom, a picnic area, an information kiosk, trash cans and lighting. Accessible features: a paved walkway, dock handrails, 1 accessible trailer parking space and 1 accessible non-trailer parking space. The site is owned by US Forest Service. STEEP GRADE (GREATER THAN 2%). RAMP CLOSES PERIODICLY IN DURING LOW LAKE LEVELS. NOT ADA YET. USFS IS WORKING ON IT. Listed by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission.
