Holcut Picnic Shelter

Holcut Picnic Shelter is located off of Highway 25 north of the town of Tishomingo, Mississippi. This large pavilion is equipped with 8 picnic tables, 8 large grills and trash bins, with a restroom nearby. Picnicking and wildlife viewing are the draws. The Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway extends 234 miles from the Tennessee River to the junction of the Tombigbee River in Alabama. The man-made waterway connects the nation's midsection of commercial water transportation with the Gulf of Mexico, and is the largest earth moving project in the history of the world. The Tenn-Tom Waterway has 180,000 acres of public land waiting for you to explore. This location is unstaffed. Nearby are the town of Holcut historical marker and the Divide Section Wildlife Management Area.
