New listing

Hoop Lake Trailhead Campground is a high elevation campground, 9,000 feet, in the north east corner of the state of Utah, between Flaming Gorge and Evanston, Wyoming. It offers lake access and access to the High Uinta Wilderness, and campers are drawn to the area to boat and fish in the lake and to hike or horseback ride on the many trails. The campground has 7 single camp sites, each with picnic tables and fire rings, and a vault toilet is on site for restroom facilities. The campground is timbered and has great views of the lake, with access for fishing and boating. This off-the-beaten-path area is a kind of recreationist's paradise, with boating and fishing in Hoop Lake, more fishing in nearby Beaver Meadow Reservoir, and trails galore. There is easy access to the Hoop Lake trailhead and to the High Uintas Wilderness, and plenty of sightseeing and wildlife watching for the numerous birds, elk, deer, moose, and beaver who frequent the area.
