Lock 6

Lock 6 Park is located on what once was a working lock and dam on the Black Warrior River. An artesian well flows naturally on the property. The boat ramp provides access to fishing and other recreation opportunities, and visitors will appreciate the group shelter and pit toilet conveniently located on the grounds. Fishing, boating, picnicking, family gatherings and wildlife watching are all recreational activities that can be enjoyed at Lock 6.
