Riverview

Riverview Recreation Area is located below the dam at Enid Lake and is popular among visitors wanting to enjoy a day at the lake picnicking, fishing, playing sports, walking and cycling. The day use area offers 22 individual picnic sites that include a grill, a serve table and a picnic table, two large picnic shelters and one small picnic shelter. Three accessible comfort stations with flush toilets are located in the area. For recreation there is a volleyball court, a softball field, a soccer and football field, horseshoe pits, a half-mile fitness trail, a fitness exercise area, a playground, and bank fishing in the old river run. Pavilions, picnic sites and other amenities are nestled among towering oak trees. The surrounding woods provide habitat for squirrels, raccoons, chipmunks, deer, butterflies, geese and a variety of birds. Nearby day use areas add boat ramps, life jacket loaner boards, beaches, amphitheaters and a view of the lake. Riverview is off Interstate 55 and easily accessible; Water Valley and Batesville, Mississippi offer shopping, hotels, restaurants and emergency care facilities if needed.
