School Creek Camground
Hosted by US Army Corps of Engineers
New listing
School Creek is a primitive campground with no water or electric hookups. Vault restrooms are located very close to each camping loop, and a boat ramp with dock is available for use within the park. All the campsites sit on the banks of Milford Lake, and the campground sits right next to the School Creek ORV area, which is accessible for riders of all ages. Whether it's boating, birding, fishing or ATV riding, School Creek provides opportunities for all types of visitors. Milford Lake is fed by the Republican River and stands as the largest man-made lake in Kansas, with a surface area of 15,700 acres and 163 miles of shoreline. The State Park offers hiking trails which include the Waterfall Trail and the Crystal Trail. The wildlife viewing tower and trail is a hot spot for excellent wildlife viewing, and the Milford Education Center and Fish Hatchery are located below the dam.
