Wanoka Campground

Hosted by USDA Forest Service

New listing

Wanoka campground is set amongst mature forest and has access to Wanoka Lake. It is located approximately 7 miles east of Iron River. The campground has 17 sites. Each site has a defined parking spur, fire ring, picnic table and tent pad, and can accommodate RVs up to 35 feet; two are pull-through sites. Please help keep the area from growing by keeping all equipment on the parking spur. Drinking water and vault toilets are available, and there is a carry-in boat access with a small dock. Wanoka Recreation Area is located off an ATV route that connects to local ATV trails and other open routes. Visitors may ride their ATVs or smaller UTVs to and from the route, but ATVs may not be driven around the campground for fun and must be kept on their trailers or on the parking spur at the site. Motorized trail systems are near the campground. Wanoka campground sits on 15-acre Wanoka Lake, which has panfish and trout and is set amongst mature forest.
