Yankee Meadow Campground

Hosted by USDA Forest Service

New listing

Yankee Meadows Campground is a little known gem that offers outstanding beauty and recreation. The scenery is fantastic at the lake, with the towering volcanic cliffs of Sydney Peaks rising in the distance to create a rugged and impressive backdrop. Trout fishing and boating are the most popular activities. The surrounding forest and open terrain provide access to a variety of trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding and ATV exploring: Vermillion Castle, Noah's Ark, Henderson Hill and the Yankee Meadows Loop, plus ATV routes including the Markagunt and Second Left Hand trails. Trail users are strongly advised to pick up a trail map from any Dixie National Forest Service office. The campground has three group sites alongside individual and double campsites, with newly improved and updated amenities.
