(Deactivated) Multnomah Falls Timed Reservation Tickets

Multnomah Falls is one of the most visited natural recreation sites in the Pacific Northwest, with more than 1.2 million visitors stopping by each year to take in the views. Fed by underground springs from Larch Mountain, the flow over the falls varies, but is usually highest during winter and spring. This is also one of the best places in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area to study geology exposed by floods. Multnomah Falls Lodge and the site around it are within the Historic Columbia River Highway National Historic Landmark. Built in 1925 and run by a concessionaire, the lodge is well maintained, with bathrooms, a visitor center, a snack bar, and a restaurant that is fully ADA accessible. The lower level holds a USDA Forest Service Information Center, a snack bar and a gift shop; the upper portion holds a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, open daily for dining between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm and accessible by elevator. The trail to the top of the falls and the loop to Wahkeena Falls is open for hikers. The hike is steep and strenuous. Please bring water and food and wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Timed reservation tickets are not required at this time. When in effect, a timed reservation ticket manages traffic congestion and provides safe access to Multnomah Falls and the Lodge. Tickets are per person and required to enter the site; all visitors over the age of 2 require a ticket, except visitors who access the site via bicycle. You may reserve up to 6 tickets per day, and a ticket reservation does not guarantee a parking space. Once on site, visitors are welcome to stay as long as they like to explore the falls, the lodge and the trails.
