Afton Landing Boat Ramp

Afton Landing Boat Ramp is on the Arkansas River at the Chouteau Lock and Dam, managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. A wide concrete ramp runs from a paved apron straight down into the water, with short grass banks on either side. Bare hardwoods stand over both edges of the ramp and lay long shadows across it. The river is broad and silt-brown here, closed on the far side by a low wooded bank.
