Bison Bonebed Tour

See one of the most important paleo-archeological discoveries in North America, within the bonebed enclosure at the Hudson-Meng visitor center. Learn about the mystery of the bison deaths and the evidence that supports a variety of theories on what happened. This interpretive tour is led by Forest Service Rangers, who present scientific findings, theories and demonstrations. Visitors gain a better understanding of the bonebed's significance and learn about the history of Paleo-Indians after the Ice Age. The tour is approximately 45 minutes.
