East Meadow Partial Lawn Rental

A rentable portion of the East Meadow lawn in the Presidio of San Francisco, managed by the Presidio Trust. The ground is flat mown grass, with a run of orange rope strung between low posts marking the rented section off from the rest of the meadow; the grass is open enough for blankets and lawn games. The meadow sits just above the shoreline. A paved path and a low bluff edge run along the far side, and past them are the bay, the Golden Gate Bridge and the headlands across the water. A stand of wind-shaped cypress closes one end.
