Elm Bluff Boat Ramp

Elm Bluff Boat Ramp is on the Alabama River Lakes, managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The photo shows a pair of concrete launch lanes separated by a grass strip, dropping from a gravel approach into still, tan-colored water. Bare and early-leafing hardwoods, some draped with Spanish moss, line both banks and stand over rock riprap at the ramp edges, and the opposite bank is unbroken woodland.
