Enchantment Pass- Cibola NF & NG
Hosted by USDA Forest Service
New experience
The Enchantment Day and Annual Pass provides unlimited visits to day-use fee sites within five National Forests in New Mexico: the Carson, the Cibola National Forest and National Grasslands, the Gila, the Lincoln, and the Santa Fe. Each pass admits the holder and occupants of a single private, non-commercial vehicle at day use fee sites. The annual pass also admits up to three additional people 16 years and older, not to exceed four adults total, at sites that charge a per-person fee. Concessionaire-operated sites are excluded, as are expanded amenity fees such as camping, tours, Special Recreation Permits and boat launches. The annual pass is valid for one year from the month of purchase and is interchangeable between all members of the same household. Cibola National Forest and National Grassland encompass 1.9 million acres. The four "sky island" ranger districts — Sandia, Mountainair, Magdalena and Mt. Taylor — cover more than 1.6 million acres in New Mexico, with elevations ranging up to 11,301 feet. The Cibola also has four wilderness areas: Sandia Mountain, Manzano Mountain, Withington and Apache Kid, and administers two National Grasslands in New Mexico, Kiowa and Rita Blanca.
