Prairie Creek (AL) Boat Ramp

Prairie Creek Boat Ramp sits on the bank of a wide, slow river in the Alabama River Lakes, managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. A paved drive loops down through mowed grass to the water's edge, with a metal trash barrel beside the turnaround. Two posted signs stand between the pavement and the bank. Hardwoods, some draped with Spanish moss, shade the shoreline on this side, and a continuous wall of green timber lines the opposite bank across the brown water.
