Sunset Tour

Watch as the sun appears to melt into the lake. Experience one of the best views of the lake at one of the most picturesque times of the day. The tour starts at the Visitor Center with a program given by NASA Solar System Ambassador Gene Zajac about the sun and its effects on the Earth as it sets. At about 8:30 p.m. the group heads over to the Memorial, and visitors who missed the program in the Visitor Center can join up at this point as well. Sunset viewing from the observation deck runs until 9:30 p.m. Total length of the tour is 2 hours.
