New experience

Hunting along the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway, managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Both photographs look into mature hardwood timber: large straight grey trunks, an open understory of bare saplings, briars and vines, and a floor of brown leaf litter, with a white-tailed buck standing in low sunlight. A large pale tank or drum sits in the brush behind him.
