Townsend Day Use Pass

Townsend is a day use area in the Angelina National Forest, part of the National Forests and Grasslands in Texas, managed by the USDA Forest Service. A brown-and-tan Forest Service sign at the entrance reads Townsend Recreation Area, Angelina National Forest, set on a low timber base. Tall pines stand close around it, with a floor of needles and fallen leaves beneath them.
