New experience

Uchee Shooting Range is a shooting range in the National Forests in Alabama, managed by the USDA Forest Service. The firing line is covered by a long open-sided shelter on heavy timber posts with a metal roof. A poured concrete walkway runs the length of it, with a row of grey pedestal shooting benches mounted on steel legs along one side and a heavy wooden table at the near end. Metal and plastic barrels stand at intervals for trash. A wider view shows several roofed shelters set around a gravel and packed-sand clearing, with painted bollards separating the parking surface from the range, and a bare earth berm rising beyond the shooting positions. Pine and hardwood forest surrounds the site on all sides.
