New experience

A visit to the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, listed for authorized commercial users. The memorial is a white concrete structure standing in the harbor, its sides curving inward at the middle and its name lettered across the end wall, with a flag flying from a pole above it. A white passenger boat lies alongside, visitors standing at the rails on both the boat and the memorial. Behind it a green hillside is planted with palms and tall conifers, and the water around is turquoise. Inside, a row of tall white ribs arches over an open hall with a dark ceiling and a polished floor. Wreaths and flower arrangements on stands line both sides, and more are grouped at the far end of the hall.
