New experience

Vick Shooting Range is a Forest Service range in the National Forests in Alabama. A long open-sided shelter with a low metal roof and timber posts runs across the firing line, covering a row of heavy wooden shooting benches set on packed gravel and dirt. Downrange, a cleared lane of bare earth and gravel runs straight out between walls of dense green hardwood and pine. The ground around the shelter is a mix of gravel, mown grass and bare dirt, with a large weathered stump standing at the near edge of the range.
